Flavie Audi is a Lebanese artist who works in London. She was born in Paris, and in 2010 she graduated from the Architectural Association, RIBA Part II, London. In 2014 she graduated from the Royal College of Arts, MA ceramics and glass, London. She works with glass and stone, and she is widely known for her work with glass. You can visit her site by clicking here. I love the use of color and texture in her pieces, and I think that they all turn out very unique. They are very appealing for me to look at, and I was drawn to them as soon as I saw them on the website.

I didn't ever write a full on list of different ideas for my concentration. As soon as I saw that it had to be something that we were passionate about jump rope immediately came to my mind. A lot of my brainstorming was me texting you about what would work and what wouldn't, and I was really hoping that jump rope would work in some way for my concentration because I would say it is by far the thing that I am most passionate about in my life. Most of my brainstorming was thinking of ways to make a concentration out of jump rope because just saying jump rope was too generic. Eventually I thought of what I wanted to do. My concentration is things that I have learned/gotten from jump rope. I had to think of lots of things that I could use to base sculptures off of, and I think that two of my summer ones should actually count towards my concentration hopefully! I am really excited about my concentration, and I'm hoping to make some really cool sculptures involving it.
